As you grow your garden, you will find some vegetables are just abundant. Kale, Swiss chard, and other collard greens are usually among them, especially this time of year. As I was reading my February subscription of Real Simple, I came across several recipes for Green vegetables and among them were Green smoothies. I am “pinning” these here to show you that it is increasingly popular to eat (and drink) in season the good harvest of the land. A well-known pastor frequently shares that “we reap what we so, more than we sow, and later than we sow.” These three vegetables are perfect examples of that Godly truth.
